Before You Book

Got Questions? We've Got Answers

Everything about our walking tacos, setup, and service โ€” or just call, we love to chat.

Booking

How do I book you?

Booking's all done online! That said, we're always happy to hop on the phone and answer any questions you've got about our service. Just a heads up - quotes need to go through email, so we can't give those out over the phone.

How do I check if my date is available?

Just hop on our website and submit a form! We've got multiple trucks and cuisines ready to roll, so don't be shyโ€”reach out and let's see what we can cook up for your date.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

All cancellation and reschedule policies can be found in our booking terms linked in the footer of our website. You'll also get a copy with your catering agreement when you book.

Can the serving time change after I book?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no! Once we lock in your time, we make promises to other events based on that commitment. So if changing your time would bump into another party we already committed to, we wouldn't be able to make the switch.

How far in advance should I book?

For the best pick of dates, grab your spot 4-8 weeks ahead โ€” but don't stress if you're planning last-minute! Rush bookings and even week-of are typically doable. Just know that if your top choice is already booked, we might have to roll with a backup preference instead.

Can I check availability before I know every detail?

It's tough to lock in availability until we know your location and time โ€” no location yet is kinda like throwing darts at a wall!

What are your payment terms?

Payment terms are dictated by your catering agreement. They are also found in the booking terms in the footer of our website.

What information do you need to give me a quote?

We just need a few quick things from you: your date, time, address, and how many hungry guests we're feeding!

Pricing & terms

What happens to my price if the event changes?

We can totally tweak your event details for you โ€” just heads up, confirmed guest counts can't go down. If any approved changes affect your price, you'll see it all laid out in a revised quote.

What affects the price of my event?

Pricing depends on your date, service time, guest count, and event address.

Is gratuity included or expected?

Gratuity is not included or added automatically. Tipping is optional, and any cash or card tip goes directly to the crew serving your event.

Are there any fees I should know about up front?

Your written quote shows all charges before you book, including any travel, taxes, or booking fees. We do not add fees after you accept the quote unless your event changes and you approve a revised price.

Is there a minimum spend?

Most events have a minimum based on the date, location, guest count, and service time. We will confirm your minimum in writing before you book.

Do you offer fixed per-person pricing?

Sometimes. Pricing may be per person, package-based, or subject to a minimum depending on the event. Your quote will clearly show how your price is structured.

What is included in the quote you send me?

Your quote covers food service for the guest count you asked about, plus all the plates, utensils, and serving supplies that come with your chosen service. Easy!

How is your pricing structured?

Every event is quoted individually based on the menu, guest count, service time, and location. Your accepted quote is your price unless you approve a later revision.

Are there travel fees, and how far will you travel?

Travel fees may apply based on where our serving team is coming from. If there is a travel charge, it will be listed on your quote before you book. Service range varies by date and location.

How do you work out travel costs?

Travel costs come down to where our serving truck is starting from and how far it needs to go to reach your event. We're based out of tons of major metro areas, and we can even roll beyond them when it works out!

Food

Can the menu be adjusted for our event?

Yep, we can totally switch things up! Our standard menus are our crowd favorites and built to please just about everyone. But if you've got exact picks in mind, just tell us and we'll whip up a quote for that instead.

How is your food actually cooked?

Good question! We prep and cook in small batches โ€” some at the commissary, some right on our truck โ€” just like we'd make it for our own family.

Do you have kid-friendly options?

Yep, we've totally got you covered for kids! Just give us a heads-up ahead of time on what your little ones like. Since kids can be picky eaters, letting us know their faves helps us make sure we can make it happen. Every kid's different, so we're happy to make them happy!

What do you refuse to compromise on?

Quality and responsivenessโ€”no compromises there. Communication's the key that lets us know exactly what you want and how to make it happen. And the food? That's what makes your event go smooth.

What do guests notice most about your food?

Guests always notice the heart behind itโ€”passion and love. Our teams don't cook because they "can." They cook because they want to.

What sides and drinks come with it?

Sides and drinks depend on your menu โ€” every setup's a little different, and we're happy to tweak things where needed! For drinks, we roll with a fun mix of soda and water, and what's on offer can vary by region.

What do you serve?

We roll up to all kinds of parties, all over! Most of the get-togethers we do are private, but you'll catch us at some public events too. Just know that for every party, there's a required sales minimum based on our inputs.

Dietary

How do you handle food allergies?

We are very sensitive to guest needs. We put the upmost care into accommodating, but we only know the dietary restrictions you tell us up front. If there are severe allergies or needs please let our team know up front.

Do you offer gluten-friendly options?

We absolutely do! Grab your bag and dig in! ๐ŸŒฎ

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We can accommodate for almost any situation as long as we know up front. Surprises on site don't usually go well for our team or your guests.

Do you offer a vegetarian option?

Yep, every menu comes with a vegetarian option! You get to build your own menu, but we highly recommend keeping at least one veggie option in the mix โ€” it's a super common dietary need, so it just makes sense.

Service & the day

How early do you arrive before service starts?

We roll in 30-60 minutes before showtime! We build in that range because, hey, traffic's always a wildcard.

How do you communicate with hosts before and during the event?

When we roll up on-site, we call you right away so we know where to park and you know we've arrived! Before the big day, we email you 24-48 hours prior to your party with the day-of contact for the truck team. Plus, we've got an automated email that pings you before the event just to make sure nothing's changed on your end โ€” so we can be all set to bring the taco fun!

How long does service take for a larger event?

We can usually keep the line moving fast โ€” typically about 60-80 guests per hour! The exact pace depends on how streamlined your menu is and what your overall vision looks like. For bigger events, we recommend bringing in some of our other partner trucks to help speed things up even more.

What happens to leftover food?

Great question! When the party's over, we'll either haul the leftovers away and toss them, or you (the host) are totally welcome to keep them! Just give us a heads up 15 minutes before service ends if you'd like to keep the leftovers โ€” that way we can bundle everything up quick and still get to our next event on time.

How does the serving line actually move?

Every party's a little different! The slow part is usually chatting at the windows and walking guests through the menu. We're all about getting your food out fast โ€” but honestly, we can only move as quick as your guests order. Pro tip: if folks already know the menu before they get in line, things zip along way faster!

What do you do when the line gets long?

When the line grows, we grow right along with it โ€” no slowing down! We start batch cooking so we can knock out 2-3 orders at once and cook to the back of the line, meaning we've always got a few orders of each option ready to go. That way, the second something's ordered, it's out the window. Even with a longer line, nothing sits around or goes stale โ€” everything goes out within a minute or two, and we're constantly cooking up more backstock to keep the whole line moving!

What does setup look like on event day?

We usually roll in about 30-60 minutes before service (traffic depending!). Most of the prep magic happens before we even arrive, so once we're there, we just pop the window open right on time and start serving up the goods. Once we hit the time frame โ€” or everyone's happily fed โ€” we quietly pack it up and roll out. Easy, breezy, taco-y.

Do you provide plates, napkins, and utensils?

We've got you covered! We bring all the cutlery and disposables you need so guests can enjoy their meal without a hitch. Just know we don't provide extras for stuff we're not bringing to the party.

What happens at the end of service?

At the end of the fun, we give a big thanks to the host, pack up the truck, and hit the road!

Site & logistics

What if my venue has tight or unusual access?

Got tight or quirky access? No sweat โ€” we'll just shift the parking/service spot to make it work! Before the event, we'll send over the truck's exact sizes so you can double-check everything fits. A good rule of thumb: have 40ftx10ftx12ft tall available, plus upwards of 50 ft to get a trailer in. Worst case scenario? We park somewhere safe (nothing gets damaged!) and set up a little farther away โ€” but hey, everyone still gets fed!

What makes a site difficult to serve?

Honestly? When venues step in and start dictating food service. They might have the space, but they don't have the kitchen or food service chops. We love what we do and want it to be a win for everyone involved.

What do you need from us on the day?

We just need a level, clear spot to park โ€” and someone to answer the phone when we roll up so we can find the right place to set up!

Can you serve indoors, or do you need to be outside?

We can totally bring the food indoors! Just heads up, most of the time fire code says we need ventilation inside or we gotta cook electric. Nothing we can't figure out together if that's what you need!

Who handles permits and venue approvals?

Those are handled by the host. We can provide licensing and proof of insurance, but we do not pull event permits or pay venue costs on behalf of a host.

Do you need power or water hookups?

Nope, once we roll up and park, we're totally self-sufficient โ€” no power or water hookups needed!

How much space do you need to set up?

For trucks, we usually need 40ftx10ft, and for trailers 50ftx10ft โ€” but once we're parked, the truck can detach from the trailer to shrink its footprint!

Can you serve at a school, park, venue, or private property?

Absolutely! We're mobile and ready to roll โ€” we come straight to you!

Events

What kinds of events do you cater?

We cater events of all shapes and sizes! If you need great food, we would love to help make your event awesome!

What kind of event are you the best fit for?

We're all about great food, no matter the event! We don't get too hung up on the type of event โ€” we just care about serving up a fun experience for hosts and guests alike.

What's the most memorable event you've done?

We've done it all โ€” weddings, country super-stars, professional athletes โ€” but nothing beats that very first time you drive the truck out for its very first job and watch your dream actually come to life. Those early memories? We'll never forget them.

Is there a minimum guest count?

Nope, no minimum guest count here! We just work off a minimum spend instead.

What size events can you handle?

We roll to events of all shapes and sizes! Small get-together? We'll swing by with one truck. Big bash? We've stacked up to 17 trucks for those! Really just depends on your vision for the day.

The unexpected

What if you run out of food?

We pack enough grub to match the guest count you give us upfrontโ€”no more, no less! So make sure that number's accurate and we'll be golden, no running out. Here's the thing though: we're a mobile kitchen, so we don't roll with big fridges and freezers stocked with backup food should the guest count end up higher than expected. On the flip side, if the guest count comes in lower than expected, all those tasty leftovers? They're yours to keep!

What do hosts most often forget to ask?

Dietary restrictions! Letting us know ahead of time makes it easy to accommodate your guests. But once gluten's in the kitchen and half your guests are GF, it's tough to eliminate it with 100% certainty. So hit us with those details early โ€” it saves everyone the headache.

What happens if you're delayed getting to the venue?

Life on the road means sometimes things happen โ€” like a bad accident blocking traffic, which can slow us down getting to your venue. It's rare, but if it does happen, no worries โ€” we're happy to stay late to make sure everyone gets their food. Accidents aren't our fault or your fault, but we always make sure you get everything you paid for.

What happens if more guests show up than we told you?

There is a chance we run out of food. Its good practice to overestimate by 10-15% to make sure everyone gets fed.

What's your plan if the weather turns bad?

We show up rain, snow, wind, or shine. We can always pack things in to-go containers.

Proof & trust

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. All our teams hold a health license and insurance.

What makes you different from other caterers?

Honestly, we'd love to say our food is better than everyone else's โ€” but truth is, our fellow food truck friends serve great food too, we just think ours is superior. What really sets us apart? Communication. We pick up the phone every time, answer emails around the clock, and text you right back. No channel left hanging, ever.

Can you provide insurance or vendor documentation?

We can provide that when requested. Please note on COI's our agents can take up to 7 days. We are unable to change our policies for events.

How long have you been doing this?

We fired up our first truck back in 2016 and have been slowly growing and leveling up ever since! Let us know how we can serve you!

Why should we book you?

As owner-operators, we know this truck inside and out. We're not just caterers โ€” we're your co-hosts. We'll always be upfront about what our trucks can and can't do, so you're never misled.

Where you serve

Why do you need the exact event address?

We can't put together a quote without knowing where the party's happening! Mileage is one of our biggest cost factors, so the exact address is a must-have before we can give you numbers.

Can you serve nearby towns outside the main city?

Absolutely! We're mobile, so we can roll up wherever you are!

Where do you serve?

We roll up to private parties everywhere! Hit us up today โ€” we've got a team ready to serve you up something delicious.
