Under HB 771 (effective April 18, 2017), Maryland has health reciprocity — a food-truck health permit or inspection issued by any Maryland jurisdiction is accepted statewide. Fire permits are issued locally.

In Columbia, health is licensed by Howard County Health Department and fire permitting is set locally by Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services / Office of the Fire Marshal.

If your event requires permitting, you'll work directly with Howard County.

Licensing and insurance documentation is confirmed for the catering team assigned to your booking and can be shared with your venue on request.
